Time Out!

Does the idea of a religious vocation interest you?

Have you ever thought of life as a religious brother?

I'm organising a weekend of reflection and information in Dublin for men who would like to take some 'Time Out' and spend some time praying and talking about these questions.

For full information take a look at our information page on the Congregation Website.

If you have any questions or would like to reserve a place, just send me an email at prescall@eircom.net

Honouring Toddy O'Sullivan

With the Lord Mayor of Cork, Mr Mick O'Connell and Mr Toddy O'Sullivan.

I was home in Cork last Friday night for a reception to honour former Lord Mayor of Cork, Mr Toddy O'Sullivan.

It was a great Cork occasion as family, friends and colleagues of Toddy gathered with the Brothers at Mount St Joseph.

Br Andrew Hickey, my predecessor as Vocations Director, entertains the gathering.

Ploughing Ahead...

With some of the young folk that visited our tent in Athy

Hard to think that a year has passed since I attended the National Ploughing Championship in Athy in County Kildare. That was my first public event after my appointment as vocations director.

I was back again this year at the Vocations Ireland tent to promote religious vocations. Tens of thousands of people attended the Championship again this year and it was wonderful to meet so many supportive people.

Roll on next year!
